After everything are otaku protagonist has been through we finally see him breaking the ice even further with the recent events that play out. Are girl Kaori, after going through a bit of a rough patch funds the strength to reaffirm her resolve to become that "special" one to Hajime and becomes better frenemies with our deal vampire princess. The most shocking events were how are resident masochist dragon shows that there is more to her, even pronouncing her love for our boy, and that an entire city would risk being labeled heretics to save their savior. Yet, it was a bit disturbing in realizing just how sociopathic the gods truly are with the events in the fourth labyrinth. Otherwise, it would seem now that the number of rivals has once again increased and I suspect that it will increase further in coming volumes.

This volume covered a lot of ground quickly and things are starting to heat up. We didn't get as much in the rest of the student side as it seems like things are going slower there. Love how our MC is growing and becoming softer but still mercilous. I still love the harem not a harem thing going on but actually hope he comes to actually accept his harem fate sooner than late, especially now that there's a wife that's appeared. Now's it time to see how many of their allies actually help and once again the long wait for the next volume begins.

This was my rating because some parts seem forceful and unneeded, I had a difficult time reading it. To me it felt like it focused more on irrelevant scenarios.Spoiler alert!For example the scene where hajime's group was fighting that jelly, devour thing was just too extended and boring it was boring now this is my opinion, I haven't read ahead since the other volumes haven't been released at the time, so I don't know if it will play a important role later on.But I feel that when the volcano erupted and hajime was trapped inside could have been made more dramatic and intense. Like the part where hajime was injured be the Uranus dragons surprise attack. That was a good scene my favorite of the book. BUT!!! IT WAS GLOSSED OVER! There should have been a recovering scene where Hajime is recovering and improving due to his failure, while the girls are helping to care for his wounds since Kaori isn't there. WHAT A MISSED GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY.WELL that's just me opinion. It's not like I'm a novelist, and I know I couldn't do anything a quarter as amazing as this book.Oh and I like Hajime's character design better in The manga better than the light novel.I've been thinking for a while but isn't Hajime's character illustration half-assed. His character illustration is a lot more dynamic and better in the manga. Not just hajime but all the illustrations in the Novels of arifureta, except for the colored ones those are good.Hopefully and animation for the anime doesn't disappoint.

Gahhhhh!!! So good! I was reading and reading and reading and then after a full day, it says “epilogue” and I was in shock that I had read the whole book. It’s so addicting.Spoiler:The thing I liked in This boom was the struggle. It wasn’t all easy peasy cake, it was a struggle to win and clear things, and that developed characters for me. The one thing I would like is more abilities for the main character, as he still just rocks the same two guns hardly using anything new, fantastic book though

Great addition and probably the best volume since volume 1.Plenty of action and finally has some challenging battles for the MC.Arguably has more humor than any of the previous volumes.Doesn't sidetrack with stories from the other groups nearly as much as most of the previous volumes, which is great in my opinion.And a lot happens in this volume, yet the quality didn't suffer.Hope the next volume is as great or better.

I liked this book because the group wasn't all powerful as they had been before, it seems like they continue on their path, and I can't wait for the next book

It's a good continuation, a bit fast paced but awesome anyways. Story moves and progresses nicely, characters having fun and going to not one but two labyrinths, and Yue still predating on Hajime on every free moment. Triggering enough, this volume ends with a cliffhanger, but the extra chapter lifts the tension nicely, so i've got a pretty good feeling about this part, and can't wait for the next one.

Another amazing entry into this series. This one shows the more human side of the group and the trust they show each other. The group has enemies everywhere but also allies.

When I started reading this, I was tempted to quit early on. The writing style was not to my liking, really, as it consisted of a lot of short dull sentences, like 'He sat down in the chair.' There was also a lot of telling and not enough showing.Still, as I liked the plot overall, I kept on reading. I noticed that the writing improved a little as the story went along. One plot device was OTT absurd towards the end though.I actually liked the H/h, even though they were a little too perfect.'Word of Honor' gets a weak 3 stars.

This is the story of Geoffrey De Montfort, the hero of the story who has known Merryn Mantle since childhood. Geoffrey and Merryn have one day of blissful marriage, and one night of passion of the extraordinary love they share, when suddenly Geoffrey is wrenched away from his new life and new wife. Geoffrey disappears with no trace for 7 years and when he returns things are different from them. The love is still there, there is so much emotion coming from them, but they need to overcome many obstacles to find their HEA. This story was a captivating roller coaster ride and one I’m sure you will enjoy too!!!

This novel kept me on the edge of my seat! I liked how unpredictable it was, I never saw the dark turn it took coming. The characters were very strong, yet likable and appealing. Their chemistry was powerful and the sexual connection was steamy. I'm glad I found this new author. I am eager to begin the next book in the series. Loved the cover photo too!

This was the first book , I read by this Author and I am glad I did. I am a great fan of historical romance and this book had it all. Geoffrey's and Merryn's great love and passion for each other brought them through all the horror and trails and separations. Merryn was a strong woman and Geoffrey a great honorable Knight and at the end they had a wonderful life together.It is definitely a book worth reading.

While in France, events occur that will bring danger to Geoffrey... a horrible danger that will change their lives.He returns victorious from battle to wed his lovely betrothed. These two are so happy with one another because what they have is a true love match. The day after their wedding, danger disrupts their lives with a wicked turn of events. Geoffrey disappears with no trace for 7 years and when he returns...he is not the same and things are not the same with Merryn, except for what she feels in her heart. I received the book as an advanced reader copy and chose of my own accord to review. My opinions in this book review are my own. I wasn't sure what I was expecting, (and I'm not even quite halfway through), but it's been far and above what I expected. So much to chew on, process. It's not a book to rush through, not one to superficially glaze over, but one to digest, slowly take in, even though it could be considered an "easy read." I read and reread the same pages even. I don't do this with most books. I'm typically a fast reader and can devour a book in a day or two. But this? Nope. #savoringeachword This is one book I'll definitely be re-reading, in fact, with highlighter in hand. I rarely read books twice, but reading it through the first time without highlighting helps me to just digest the truth of what Sheila pours out, that it's okay not to be okay, to question and to wonder, to struggle and to wrestle with hard things. Re-reading then allows me to go through it a second time and highlight the "key" sentences that speak to right where I'm at now. Definitely worth TWO reads!

I found that I could easily relate to the authors struggles and found it helpful how she directs you to God in the difficult times with no condemnation. I loved the questions at the end of the chapters to help make personal and cement what I had learnt in each chapter. If you need encouragement to keep moving forward (and who doesn't?) this book will be helpful.

The situation i have been facing just this last week, taking compassionate leave at work, i downloaded this book to read on the flight. Talk about meeting you where you are at. Its a womans message, but as with alot of books that have touched me lately, its a human message. Men and woman arent that much different when it comes to all this stuff, men can just do the hard bravado thing better, but underneth its the same core issues. I can go onto tomorrow, even if im not ok, because it truly is ok not to be ok.

Reading through Shiela's book has been challenging for me because she asks hard questions, but they're GOOD hard questions. She doesn't hold back. In one chapter, she brings to light the way we approach God after disappointments and heartbreak. As I read this chapter, I thought, 'This is me, afraid to ask God for big things because I have felt disappointed in the past.' I like that each chapter ends with tools for further consideration, guiding me in how to apply what I gleaned in each chapter.

A long-time fan of Sheila Walsh, I think It's Okay Not to Be Okay may be her best book yet. Her candid stories range from heartfelt to entertaining and through it all, Sheila invites into to heart and life as she shares Biblical truth and wisdom. This is the sort of book that causes one to reflect, cry and laugh. It has reassured me of truths I need to remember in the midst of the hard of life and has encouraged my heart. Put this book on your list if you're struggling with feeling not-enough, overlooked, or afraid. You'll be glad you did!

I just finished Sheila’s new book “It’s OKAY Not to be OKAY,” and I have both laughed and cried at her gut-honest stories. The book gets high scores from me: entertaining (check); insightful (check); and faith building (check). Most of all, it caused me to pause, take a look at myself, and know there is hope for the best and the worst of us. I am one who underlines key statements as I read, and there are actually pages where I underlined the entire page. As a teacher in women’s ministry, I could teach a full lesson from every 2 to 3 pages! The profound statements are numerous, and I am in awe at the wisdom and graciousness with which Sheila imparts both her struggles and her victories to her readers. I’ve read many of Sheila’s books, and once again, she did not disappoint her audience. This is a must read for every person who struggles with being OKAY with God and OKAY with yourself. My hat is off to Sheila!

Great book that reminds us that even in the middle of our mess God has a purpose for us. We all have our days, sometimes moments when we aren't ok, but through those times we know God is with us. Sheila shares some of her experiences in this very same area. She helped me understand that we are not alone. We shouldn't feel guilty when we don't feel okay because it doesn't mean we did anything wrong. Life is hard and we all have struggles, just know God will always walk with us during these times.

A lot of really good straight down the line help from a very mature perspective that is very helpful. Best taken in small chunks and mulled over. it doesn't hurt that the audio book has Sheila's awesome Scottish accent as she reads her own work. Definitely a worthwhile purchase if you are after a ministry book, or if you are sitting on the fence thinking about it. It's really very good! If you struggle with painful emotional hurt, suicide in the family or depression, or youre an introvert with various other difficulties, Sheila and the Holy Spirit really have something to say.
