Comprehensive and accurate. Well written too. A must for any interested in true Islam

I have had this book many times and I've given this book to others. A great book to understanding Islam.

This is not a bad book if you realize its inherent limitations, which may not be immediately obvious to the untrained observer.First of all, the title is misleading; it should be called "Know your Shiite Islam." I have nothing against Shiites - far from it, I think that they are a valid and necessary manifestation of that sea of spirituality known as Islam - but calling this book "Know your Islam" is like calling a book on Lutheranism "Know your Christianity."Secondly, I suspect that the book was primarily designed for people from a Shiite Islamic background who for one reason or another have become secularized, either due to long residence in the West or because they received a Westernized education. Seen from this point of view the book fulfills a useful niche.But for the average Westerner the book is a bit of a chore to understand without some experience of Islam on the ground. Be advised.

I have read this book perhaps over 50 times and have enjoyed it everytime! This book is intended for those who practice Shiaism and is a great insight to those of other sects and denominations to get a glimps at the core values that surround Shiaism. This book is not making any attempts to focus on Sunni practices, it is clearly a Shia book containg prescribed methodologies for Shias. I cannot read Arabic fluently so the translations and Roman-English make this book very useful. This book is simple to read and well-rounded without getting too focused on theory and history. It sticks to the basics like how to pray, fast, pay alms, ect. I have had previous editions of this book. The reading is simple enough for a second/third grader to understand.

One of the sound buttons didnâ€™t work. Not that thereâ€™s anything wrong with that.

How can you not just love this mini Festivus pole?? It has 4 recordings from the episode that garner laughter no matter how often you hear them. Easy to assemble, comes with 2 magnets and 5 Human Fund donation cards. Great for a desk or, as we used it, at a store counter for the perfect holiday treatment. You'll go to sleep with the sweet sounds of Frank Costanza playing in your head. I got a lotta problems with you people! (insert tears from laughter here) Well worth your $$$

It's a good kit for the holidays and I would give it five stars, but I want to retain the right to have some things to complain about when the airing of grievances starts.

I guess I felt that it fell short of my expectations on everything except the pole. I knew what I was getting into with the pole. The little green slips of copy paper reeked of something a child homemade. The audio on the pole is decent. But it's audio directly cut from the Seinfeld episode and hacked/edited the way they wanted. A few bits have the middle chopped out and two ends pushed together, which snags a couple laugh tracks here and there. You get the end of the laugh track while Frank is talking. Odd and a little disappointing. All in all, it brought a few laughs Xmas day for my father. Worth the current price of single digits. Not worth double digits.

Just the Frank Costanza quotes (e.g. "A Festivus for the rest of us!") available at the push of a button at the base of the Festivus Pole make this worth the price. I laughed out loud. A fun conversation piece for any Seinfeld fan!

So much fun and more than I expected. Bought for my son (a Seinfeld fan) to put on his desk at work for Christmas/Festivus celebrating. Everything shown is in the box and just captures the magic of Seinfeld's Festivus celebration. I love to hear George's father's voice and laugh every time. Great little fun gift for the Seinfeld, and Festivus, and Father-of-George fan. Great price too. Fun gift to give or to buy for yourself.

I decorated my desk at work with this Festivus pole and its presence invited many coworkers to drop by and air their greivances. The compact size makes for convenient storage in any crawlspace. It was truly a Festivus Miracle to find this deal.

Comes in a small box that at first seemed a let down but it is actually pretty cool and brought laughs from my co-workers. Base of the small plastic pole has four buttons with quotes from Frank Costanza. All were clearly heard. Comes with two magnets and Human Fund certificates.

Upon graduating from Texas Christian University, Lilly was the number one draft pick of the brand-new Dallas Cowboys organization in 1961. A good read for any Dallas Cowboys fan.. Very detailed about his life in football and his thoughts of many of the other Cowboys players he played with. This book is not much on his personal life.

Still one of the best of the Cowboys. Indeed it was a very sad day when Jerry Jones fired Tom Landry. We have not been to another game since.

Inspiring...honest. .heroic. Bob Lilly is the best of all time!

I expected so much from this book. A man and Cowboy I really respected. Though he was one of the greatest. The book revealed almost nothing of his great play for the Cowboys. The pro ball portion of the bio was basically a history of the Cowboys while he was there, and later. No real insights into his greatness, great plays, inspirational plays, nothing. Very disappointed.

A must read for any Die hard Cowboy fan! Bob Lily is the standard for all Cowboys who represent the Star!

This is a pretty good book. The very first draft pick of the expansion Cowboys. He was the face of the franchise until he retired in 1974. He was also the first Cowboy to be inducted into the football hall of fame. This is his story. How frustrating it was to go to the playoffs and come so close to winning it all especially in 1967. Then finally winning the Super Bowl in 1971 where he made the signature play of his career with a 29 yard sack. If your a Cowboy fan you will probably like this better than a none fan. It is the story of a small town boy who made it big. Never forgot his roots and always stayed humble..
